The kind of wine that shows up late and steals the show. Deep and powerful, it’s ready for aged cheddar, smoky barbecue, or your coziest night in.
Tasting Notes: A muscular yet elegant expression of Dry Creek Valley terroir, this Petite Sirah opens with brooding aromas of dark plum, blueberry, and earthy undertones. The palate layers in notes of black cherry, umami, toasted oak, and a warm spice profile of vanilla and baking spice. Aged for 20 months in 28% new French and American oak, the wine has a structured frame and long, powerful finish. Awarded 92 points by Wine & Spirits Magazine, it shines alongside richly flavored dishes like grilled meats and vegetables, strong cheeses, wild game, or dishes with rich sauces.
Varietals: 93% Petite Sirah, 7% Zinfandel
About the Estate: Wilson Winery is distinguished not only by its award-winning wines, but also by its deep roots in Dry Creek Valley tradition. Housed in a lovingly restored century-old tin barn, the winery blends modern winemaking techniques with a proud family legacy that began in 1993. Founders Ken and Diane Wilson have transformed the historic site into a beacon of Sonoma heritage, where cutting-edge stainless steel tanks now stand beside old redwood beams. The result is a place where history and innovation meet—and where every bottle tells a story of craftsmanship, family, and place.
