Stewart's Point 2018, Dry Creek Valley — Dry Creek Valley, USA. A ridgetop vineyard at 1,570 feet, hand-harvested and fermented with wild yeast, then aged 60 months in Taransaud French oak before bottling unfined. This is California Cabernet made with real patience and it shows.

Tasting Notes: Inviting aromas of black currant, cigar box and lavender open the nose, leading to a palate of marionberry preserves, black cherry cola and dark chocolate. Smooth tannins linger with plum, black peppercorn and old leather on a long finish. Hand-harvested from volcanic clay and Laniger loam at 1,570 feet elevation, fermented with wild yeast and aged 60 months in Taransaud French oak before bottling unfined at 15.5% alcohol.

Varietals: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc
