Grown on pebble-strewn slopes with natural drainage, this powerful Pinot is pure Côte de Nuits class. Think roast duck, truffle risotto, or simply a quiet evening with something rare.

Tasting Notes: From the old vines of “Les Cailles,” this Pinot Noir is full-bodied and deeply concentrated. The nose opens with ripe red fruit and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is structured with firm but refined tannins, balanced by bright acidity that gives it lift and energy. The finish is long and smooth, with gentle notes of vanilla and oak. It’s a complex, age-worthy Burgundy that rewards both patience and a good pairing. Ideal with game, duck, or mushroom dishes.

Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir

About the Estate: Maison Saint Vivant is a special project from Antoine Gille, with very limited production. In 1851, it was written that the Gille family had already been present in Comblanchien since 1570. Antoine's grandfather built the estate that exists today. His parents dramatically expanded the vineyards, and now Antoine and his family have taken over. The Gille family philosophy is that winemaking is not a job, but a passion guided by tradition and innovation. The Gille family places a special reverence to their vineyards - No hazardous materials are used in cultivation and no products used in excess. Their goal is to preserve the myriad of yeasts on the berries, which guarantees the expression of the different climates through natural fermentation & little to no human intervention.
