About the Estate: Domaine des Ruettes is a 12-hectare estate located on a limestone plateau above the Loire River in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation. Fourth-generation winemaker Jérôme Alnet draws on his family’s deep local roots and experience across France’s top wine regions to bring a thoughtful, sustainable approach to viticulture. The Cabernet Franc vines thrive in clay and flint soils layered over tufa, producing wines that are both expressive and true to place. From vineyard to bottle, everything is done with an eye toward balance, biodiversity, and gentle, traditional winemaking.
