Tasting Notes: Ruby red with a touch of violet, this Pinot opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, dried plum, and just a hint of black pepper. On the palate, it’s smooth and concentrated, with rich cherry and licorice notes wrapped in elegant structure. The finish is fresh and balanced, with soft, savory tannins that make it an easy match for grilled meats, saucy dishes, or even a slightly chilled pour alongside fish.

About the Estate: The Domaine de l’Ermitage, nestled in the heart of the Menetou-Salon, combines modernism and tradition, for the sake of quality, and for the passion of wine. Bernard Clement was one of the founders of the Menetou-Salon appellation in 1959. Today, his grandson, Antoine de la Farge runs the familial estate with great pride for the Menetou Salon appellation. He has blossomed into a star winemaker, and one we would keep an eye on.
