About the Estate: Domaine de la Croix Noyant is a fifth-generation family estate located in the commune of Berrie, in the southern part of the Saumur appellation. The vines grow on a gently sloping rise overlooking the Dive River, planted in shallow clay-limestone soils with tufa close to the surface. Many of the vineyard plots are former walled clos, still bordered by carefully maintained trees that enhance biodiversity and provide natural protection. With a commitment to low yields and full ripeness, the estate focuses on producing expressive, terroir-driven Chenin Blanc aged in deep underground cellars to preserve freshness and character.
