Bright and effortless, this Beaujolais is summer in a glass. Serve it slightly chilled for barbecues, outdoor lunches, or any moment that calls for an easy, expressive red.
Tasting Notes: Ruby red in the glass, this Gamay opens with inviting aromas of fresh strawberry and raspberry. The palate is smooth and round, showcasing generous fruit, mellow tannins, and a supple finish. Delicate floral and black fruit hints add depth to a wine that’s both easy-drinking and full of charm. Serve slightly chilled for best enjoyment.
Varietals: 100% Gamay
About the Estate: Domaine de la Cote de Berne is 17-hectare estate run by Rémi Sandrin. He represents the 5th generation of winegrower. The vines are spread over several crus in Beaujolais : Brouilly, Juliénas, Moulin à Vent and Morgon. Some vines are in very old age (up to 80 years old) and mostly harvested by hand. The vat room is also ancient with some concrete vats dating back to 1900.
