Ruby in color with garnet flecks. On the nose, spicy notes, juicy black fruits (blackberry, cherry). A spiced, mineral note. On the palate, the attack expresses the purity of the fruit and juicy black cherry aromas. Beautiful substance expressing generously concentrated flavors and freshness. The whole is very harmonious, the finish is intense, and the tannins are smooth. The finale on the palate is tender, juicy and suave.
This unique cuvée is vinified and aged without added sulfites. It is made from a pure
grape juice originating from vines that are over 60 years old, cultivated according to
the principles of sustainable agriculture (TERRA VITIS certified). This gentle and
delicate ageing produces a fine, subtle and well-balanced wine, the pure expression of
a great pinot on a clay-rich terroir.

About the Estate
Domaine Chavet has existed in Menetou-Salon since the 17th century. The ancestral
vineyards, handed down from generation to generation, are cultivated with the greatest
respect for the vine and its environment. These winegrowers do not inherit their vineyard, they believe they are guardians of it for future generations.
