From some of Menetou-Salon’s oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines comes this amphora-aged stunner. Crisp, citrusy, and perfect for oysters, seafood, or an elegant dinner that calls for something impressive.

Tasting Notes: Pale gold with a crystal sparkle, this wine starts with a subtle nose of flinty stone and sea breeze. The first sip is crisp and salty, like a splash of ocean spray, with refreshing citrus weaving through the mineral core. Despite its brightness, the wine carries a quiet depth and structure that unfold with each sip. The finish is clean and long, leaving behind a lasting impression of limestone purity and citrus zest.

From the oldest Sauvignon Blanc parcel on the estate, this limited cuvée is aged in 12hl amphorae for 18 months. The slow action over a long period of time and the meticulous ageing in stoneware amphorae reveal the soft depth, minerality and saline notes of the kimmeridgian limestone.

About the Estate: Domaine Chavet has existed in Menetou-Salon since the 17th century. The ancestral vineyards, handed down from generation to generation, are cultivated with the greatest respect for the vine and its environment. These winegrowers do not inherit their vineyard, they believe they are guardians of it for future generations.
