Big Pinot energy. This single-vineyard beauty is the kind of bottle that’ll impress wine lovers, and make a Burgundy lover reconsider where the best Pinot in France comes from. This wine makes a great gift, but if you want it for yourself, pair it with red meat, veal, or cheeses.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby with a brick-red edge, this wine opens with cozy aromas of spice, leather, and dark berry jam, plus a whisper of licorice. The palate is fresh yet plush, balancing rich fruit with structure. Vibrant tannins give it lift, while cherry and spice linger long after your first sip. This is a polished, expressive Pinot that somehow feels both classic and quietly bold. Crafted from one of the estate’s oldest plots (65-year-old vines), the grapes are hand-selected with extra care both in the vineyard and the cellar. Fermented naturally and aged in 500-liter barrels from local oak, this wine reflects the precision and patience behind every bottle.
Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir
About the Estate: Domaine Chavet has existed in Menetou-Salon since the 17th century. The ancestral vineyards, handed down from generation to generation, are cultivated with the greatest respect for the vine and its environment. These winegrowers do not inherit their vineyard, they believe they are guardians of it for future generations.
