About the Estate: Set along the Russian River in Mendocino’s southern stretches, Jaxon Keys is the revival of a historic ranch with deep California roots. The estate’s legacy begins with the 1844 Mexican land grant to Fernando Feliz and threads through generations of farmers, immigrants, and winemakers. In 1998, Diane and Ken Wilson saw both challenge and promise in the land. They restored the old farmhouse and vineyards, naming the winery in honor of Ken’s grandfathers—Jack Wilson and Cecil Keys.
