Estate Overview: Château Haut-Batailley is a historic estate located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Established in the 18th century, it was classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. The estate encompasses approximately 22 hectares of vineyards planted on gravelly soils, providing excellent drainage and contributing to the wine's elegance and complexity. The vineyard is predominantly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, along with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Since 2017, Château Haut-Batailley has been owned by the Cazes family, who have invested significantly in modernizing the winemaking facilities and implementing sustainable viticulture practices. Today, Château Haut-Batailley is renowned for producing wines that reflect the finesse and structure characteristic of the Pauillac terroir.
