Estate Overview:
Château de Fargues is a historic estate in the Sauternes appellation of Bordeaux, owned by the Lur Saluces family since 1472. The estate is renowned for producing a single, exceptional sweet wine, focusing solely on quality without the production of second or dry wines. The winemaking process includes aging in one-third new oak barrels for two years, followed by six months in stainless steel before bottling, allowing the wine to settle naturally without fining agents or filtration.
