From the Plan de Dieu vineyards located south of Cairanne on a bed of red clay and large, smooth rocks that sink as far as 10 meters deep. The wine is a clear, brilliant ruby color with a violet hue. The nose is very intense with spices as well as notes of garrigue and black currants. On the palate, a beautiful suave ad round attack, powerful and concentrated, a nice fatness, volume, well coated tannins, dense aromas of freshness and red fruits (cherry, blackcurrant, violet). Made with Organic grapes, vegan, and low added sulfites.

History of the Estate
Created in 1929, Cave de Cairanne is situated in the heart of the Cru of the Meridional Vallee of the Rhône, in the Vaucluse region on the left bank of the Rhone. They are a cooperative cellar built on a human scale (a dozen winemakers produce 80% of the wines) whose ambition is to give birth to pleasurable wines with strong character. With grapes picked at maturity, drastic selection, and perfectly calibrated wine making, the cellar produces a grandiose series of wines, the best in their appellation.
