96 Points Decanter - Dark red color with purple tints. Powerful nose with concentrated fruits (black cherries, blackcurrant) and spices (pepper, cinnamon and licorice). Great intensity on the nose ; black cherry, blackberry, forest fruits. Spice. Earthiness. Full and concentrated, offering magnificent fruity and spicy aromas. The long and round finish with good mouthfeel is typical of the Cairanne appellation.

History of the Estate
Created in 1929, Cave de Cairanne is situated in the heart of the Cru of the Meridional Vallee of the Rhône, in the Vaucluse region on the left bank of the Rhone. They are a cooperative cellar built on a human scale (a dozen winemakers produce 80% of the wines) whose ambition is to give birth to pleasurable wines with strong character. With grapes picked at maturity, drastic selection, and perfectly calibrated wine making, the cellar produces a grandiose series of wines, the best in their appellation.
