This richly layered North Coast Pinot Noir is like a perfectly told story: each sip reveals something new, from cherry and clove to smoke and spice. Whether you’re serving wild game or catching up over good takeout, it brings elegance without the pretense.
Tasting Notes: This complex Pinot Noir opens with aromas of baked cherry, earthy cranberry, rhubarb, spearmint, clove, and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, the entry is warm and generous, with bright notes of cherry and delicate raspberry. The midpalate surprises with structure and richness, offering soft tannins and a touch of smoky caramel. The finish is long and layered, leaving behind flavors of baked cherry and subtle toasty vanilla.
Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir
About the Estate: Each year, Lindstrom Wines produces two single vineyard estate-grown wines: a Cabernet Sauvignon, using a selection of the very finest grapes from our four acre hilltop Nicali Vineyard in the heart of the Stags Leap District, and a Pinot Noir produced from carefully sourced grapes from select North Coast appellations. In addition, in select years, the blending process permits them the opportunity to produce another wine, skillfully marrying our estate cabernet with Zinfandel sourced from top Napa Valley producers, the Nicali Proprietary Blend. These are truly artisan wines, handmade by acclaimed winemaker, Celia Welch, which are crafted in small lots and specially blended to express the unique characteristics of each vintage.
